Očarujúca mladá speváčka Rihanna sa celým menom volá Robin Rihanna Fenty pochádza z barbadosu a v súčasnosti žije v San Diegu v Kalifornii, USA. Jej tvorba obsahuje prvky popu, R&B, reggae, dancehall a dance. Preslávila sa hitmi ako „Umbrella“, „SOS“, či „Unfaithful“. Narodila sa 20. februára 1988. Taktiež je stále viac a viac kontroverznejšia čo dokazuje neustálymi a nezvyčajnými zmenami účesu a začína sa obliekať podobne ako Lady Gagam ku ktorej sa vyjadrila, že by s ňou chcela spolupracovať.

27. novembra 2007 koncertovala v Bratislave (Sibamac aréna), predskokokana jej robila Zdenka Predná.

24. decembra 2008 Rihanna oznámila, že na začiatku roku 2009 sa chystá začať nahrávanie jej štvrtého albumu.

8. februára 2009 mala Rihanna vystúpiť na odovzdávaní cien Grammy Awards 2009. Nevystúpila, údajne kvôli dopravnej nehode. Neskôr sa ukázalo, že ju pravdepodobne napadol krátko pred vyhlásením jej priateľ a spevák Chris Brown. Speváka zatkli za ublíženie na zdraví. Rihanna, napadnutá Brownom, bola neskôr hospitalizovaná v nemocnici, kde jej zistili škrabance, modriny, porezania a údajne aj pokúsanie na ruke. Týždenník TMZ.com informoval, že k hádke došlo potom, ako Brownovi prišla smska od neznámej ženy. Tou mala byť jedna zo speváčok Leona Lewis alebo Keshia Chanté.
